General Information
Students visit the media center on a 5-day rotation cycle. During their visit, they receive information literacy instruction enabling them to access, evaluate and use information in an ethical manner, as well as have the opportunity to borrow print/digital books and magazines.
The mission of the library media center is to serve the school community by creating a safe and inspiring space where students are encouraged to learn.
This is achieved by:

supporting the development of reading skills

promoting student-driven inquiry and project-based learning

building information and media literacy skills
-
introducing a wide variety of authors and genres
-
creating opportunities for creative and critical thinking

collaborating to provide services that support the curriculum
